Another delay in Palesa Madiba murder trial

Murder-accused Dumisani Mkhwanazi has had a slew of excuses for his lawyer not showing up in court on Moday. He's accused of killing UJ student Palesa Madiba, who disappeared in 2013 after visiting a friend. Her body was found in a shallow grave in Mkhwanazi’s mother’s backyard three years later. Mkhwanazi's family says the defence attorney hasn't honoured appointments and has switched off his phone. This means the case has had to be postponed, again. Masego Rahlaga filed this report.
