Fervents défenseurs d'un héritage Soul/Funk authentique, les Shaolin Temple Defenders apportent une véritable bouffée d'air frais au paysage musical français. Originaires de Bordeaux, ces 7 guerriers du groove sont avant tout un groupe de scène dont les prestations énergiques rappellent l'ambiance surchauffée des clubs mythiques américains.Entre Soul soyeuse et Funk sauvage, leur deuxième volet, "Chapter 2: Gettin' The Spirit", leur permet aujourd'hui de se positionner sur la scène Soul/ Funk européenne en collaborant notamment avec des artistes comme Eddie Roberts ( New Mastersounds) ou Dionne Charles ( Baby Charles). As hard-boiled defenders of an authentic Soul/Funk legacy, the Shaolin Temple Defenders blow a breath of fresh air over the French music scene Coming from Bordeaux( France), these 7 groove killers are first and foremost a stage band whose explosive performances plunge the audience deep into the overheated atmosphere of American famous venues.
