Situation tense as farmers try to attack police with swords

Protesting farmers, who were part of the Republic Day tractor rally, brandish swords and tried to attack the Delhi Police personnel after they were tear-gassed near Delhi's Akshardham. The farmers were tear-gassed and lathi-charged as they tried to break the police barriers in an attempt to enter the national capital.
