R Ashwin was among wickets as India bundled out Joe Root-led England for a paltry 178 in 46.1 overs in their second essay on the penultimate day's play of the first Test in Chennai on Monday. While England had a lead of 241 runs, they avoided enforcing the follow-on and batted for a long period, unexpected by many former cricketers.
