It has been raining heavily for many days, and the river threatens to burst its banks, and flood the fields. Don Lucas, a local landowner, builds walls along the river bank with the help of a large group of volunteers that includes Diego. A stranger shows up, and demands collection of an old debt. Don Lucas doesn't have enough money, and the man threatens to confiscate his land and farmhouse. The truth is that the man is an expert swordsman, paid by the Indies Trading Company to kill Zorro and seize Don Lucas' estate, on which Kapital plans to build a dam and create a reservoir. Captain Jekyll then comes to Don Lucas' defense and, with Zorro's help, arrests the bandits.
