Security Force Assistance Brigade (SFAB) #Soldiers conduct Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC) at 25 Infantry Division Lightning Academy, February 14-26, 2021, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

JOTC is a course that teaches soldiers how to survive within a jungle environment.

Eighth #Army soldiers serving in the Pacific area of operations are now authorized to wear the jungle tab upon graduating from the 20-day JOTC, which focuses on small-unit tactics, waterborne operations and survival in the thick, insect-infested jungles of Hawaii, according to a recent service news release #US#Army

AN OVERVIEW OF THE SFAB
The Security Force Assistance Brigades (SFAB) are specialized units with the core mission to conduct training, advising, assisting, enabling and accompanying operations with allied and partner nations.

Soldiers in SFABs are highly trained, and among the top tactical leaders in the Army. Their work will strengthen our allies and partners while supporting this Nations security objectives and the combatant commanders' warfighting needs.
