Failure of Constitutional machinery pointed out by Governor: Devendra Fadnavis over vacant post of Speaker

Maharashtra Governor pointed out that the post of Assembly Speaker is vacant for over a week, this is equivalent to the failure of Constitutional machinery, said Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis on March 5. “It has never happened before that despite the Governor's recommendation, the post of assembly speaker is vacant for over a week. This is equivalent to the failure of constitutional machinery as he pointed out,” said Fadnavis.
