Event brought back after flood and pandemic cancellations

The annual horse races are the staple of the social scene in the remote town of Maxwelton, in fact, they're the only event in the north-west Queensland community. But floods and the pandemic shelved the races in recent years, until a group of women banded together to put them back on the social calendar.
