U.S. Marines with 3rd Squad, 1st Platoon, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, Regimental #Combat Team 6 and Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) maneuver to flank an occupied enemy fighting position during Operation Trap House in Kajaki, Helmand province #Afghanistan
The squad and ANCOP encountered heavy enemy resistance as they crossed 70 meters of urban terrain during the operation, which was designed to reduce the enemy's ability to launch or fund any offensive #War operations from the region of Zamindawar during the traditional fighting season.
