In Helvetia, Hijikata and Squadron Leader Sakamoto are visiting Miyafuji in Lausanne Medical School. After a brief conversation with Altia about Miyafuji's presence, they're heading to Miyafuji's location and taking a tour afterwards. After a brief conversation between Miyafuji and Sakamoto about the upcoming traveling circus, a crowd screamed and ran from a plaza where there was a polar bear from a traveling circus that could no longer be tamed and attack Altia. After holding the bear's attack with her magical shield, Miyafuji then assumed that the bear might be in pain, so she used her healing abilities to heal the bear's wounds, which later showed that the bear had a toothache.
After the incident, Altia discovered that Miyafuji and Sakamoto were part of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing and was surprised by that. Later Altia revealed that her father was a captain of Venezian warship and heading out from Mediterranian to the Atlantic sea, afterwhich she tried to contact her father. But suddenly, the radio is no longer working and is emitting static for no apparent reason, then came a short remark from her father about an iceberg heading towards them.
In Captain Carlo Grimani's (Altia's father) perspective on board of Battleship Doge, it was shown that the iceberg is very huge, so Captain Grimani ordered his crews to do evasive maneuvers. Meanwhile, Hijikata tries to reconnect with Captain Grimani, but with no result. Thinking that it was a Neuroi attack (which was denied by Sakamoto), Miyafuji want to flying to Antwerp to protect the ship. So they're heading to Helvetia Air Force Base, only to see a barely untreated Striker Unit. Despite that, Miyafuji are still eager to fly, and so she flew off with the striker unit. Having barely able to take off because of mechanical issue, Miyafuji continue to fly towards Antwerp. Meanwhile, all members of the 501st are watching Miyafuji flying, thinking that it was someone else, (with the exception of Sanya and Eila, where Eila's tarot card said that Miyafuji was currently flying). After some moments, Miyafuji reported to Sakamoto where she was finally passed through Antwerp and made it out to the sea, where she suddenly lost connection with Sakamoto. Then immediately, she heard the Doge fired it's cannon from afar and saw the Doge fighting with the iceberg, when suddenly the iceberg fired a laser beam to Miyafuji. Then the Iceberg flipped over, revealing that it's a Neuroi that controlled the iceberg and revealing how huge the iceberg really was.
