A municipal councilor of Bhartiya Janta Party, Rakesh Pandita, was shot by militants in the Tral belt of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday evening. Pandit succumbed to injuries in the hospital. The leader was visiting his friend at Tral Payeen.
