Chapter 5: Old Sun Part 2
Screaming Mantis (1st phase) is the last member of The Beauty & The Beast squad boss for Snake. Players who played MGS1 will know the fight is very similar to how Snake faces Psycho Mantis. Beware not to shoot Meryl. I would prefer to use the shotgun as less accuracy is needed since players need to aim for the dolls of Screaming Mantis and it is rather small. Screaming Mantis have to puppet dolls, namely Sorrow Doll (Blue logo) & Mantis Doll (Red logo). Sorrow (Blue) Doll is useless here. I believed its more for 2nd playthrough in a new game+. Get the Mantis (Red) Doll and use it against Screaming Mantis till she has fallen.
Screaming Beauty (2nd phase) tactic is to be done as usual like all other Beauty counterparts. Just use Stun Grenade and make sure she is facing it upon denotation.
