One Killed, Six Critical After Picnic Bus En Route Bhubaneswar Overturns | OTV News

In an unfortunate incident, one person was killed and more than 15 others were injured after a picnic bus overturned near Dumbalpadara area on Gajapati-Rayagada border today.
The deceased has been identified as Sunil Sahu, a native of Bhubaneswar. The injured were shifted to a hospital in Mohana.
The incident occurred when the driver of the bus ‘Maa Dakhinakali’ carrying 20 passengers overturned. The bus which was heading to Bhubaneswar from Gupteswar in Koraput overturned in a valley. Most of the passengers were from Bhubaneswar.
Mohana Fire services personnel rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Mohana hospital. The health condition of six among them was stated to be critical. They were later shifted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.
