Wind farm proposal for small Tasmanian town generating community opposition

A wind farm proposal for the small town of Stanley on Tasmania’s north-west coast, is generating growing community opposition. Farmers, fishers and tourism operators have voiced their concerns about the project – fearing it will impact on the amenity of the township – but the proponent of the wind farm says the project will deliver jobs and money for the community.
