Hey guys, my name is George Kassaev, and I'm a realtor in Athens, Georgia. I'm here with Alex, he's a client of mine, and we just completed a transaction of a detached duplex for his first investment property. My goal was to find a property. Possibly one that I could live in, but I was also interested in rental properties as a source of additional income. That is something I didn't know a lot about, but I did know that it's a potentially lucrative investment, that was my main goal. Looking around, initially, I had some apprehensions about getting into real estate. It's something that I didn't know a whole lot about. It was a new thing to me. There are a lot of different people who are involved in the process of buying real estate, and it's good to have a way to sort through all that.
I ended up with a detached duplex. It's two houses on the same lot, a decent size one, single-family sort of houses. George was instrumental in walking me through the whole process. He helped, to find the properties initially. Showing me what to do as far as making sure they were in good shape and just going through the whole process from start to finish and figuring all of that out. George has a lot of professionalism. He knows all the right people. He knows all the steps to make sure that you're heading in the right way and that you stay on track with everything. This duplex was an off-market property, meaning the property was not listed, on the MLS. It's not something that I would have been able to find without him. Having George there to help find it, was helpful as well. I would recommend anyone to work with George, he's a great agent to have on your side.
