Shashi Tharoor Cleared Of All Charges In Sunanda Pushkar Death Case

Shashi Tharoor, Congress MP, was discharged by a Delhi court on August 18 of charges linked to the death of his wife Sunanda Pushkar in 2014. 51-year-old Sunanda Pushkar was found dead in a suite of a luxury hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014. Pushkar had moved into the hotel as Tharoor’s house was being renovated, reported NDTV. Tharoor was charged with abetment to suicide and cruelty by the Delhi Police. On August 18, the court refused to frame charges against 65-year-old Shashi Tharoor. The court cleared the former Union Minister of all charges. Tharoor said his family would finally mourn his wife Sunanda Pushkar in peace. Shashi Tharoor & Sunanda Pushkar tied the knot in 2010. Watch the video to know more about the case.
