Nedumudi Venu, National Award Winning Veteran Malayalam Actor Dies Aged 73

On October 11, Nedumudi Venu, the National award winning actor died at the age of 73. He breathed his last at a private hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. The veteran actor is survived by his wife TR Susheela & two sons. Nedumudi Venu started his career as a theatre artist and worked in plays like Kavalam Narayana Panicker. Venu has acted in more than 500 movies & is known for his work in Malayalam and Tamil movies. Venu for known for handling both serious and comic roles with ease. Nedumudi Venu won three National Film Awards. He won six Kerala State Film Awards for his performances. Actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran took to Twitter to express grief. Filmmaker Sangeeth Sivan tweeted, “One of our finest actors. Such a huge loss to Malayalam cinema.” Watch the video to know more.
