Gulab Sandesh || Misti Recipe

Bijaya Dashami, the day Maa returns to Kailash, to Lord Shiva. On this day her family gives her all the love possible with hand made sweets, sindoor and Paan Patta, which we call "Boron". So lets make home made sandesh for Ma to bid her adieu, and in our hearts sing " Asche Bochor Abar Hobe"!

Ingredients:
1)Chhena-500gms
2) Sugar powder
3) Rose flavour food colour- 1tsp

Method:
1)Take chhena in a bowl, add powdered sugar and keep mashing it to make the consistency fine.
2) Add rose flavour food colour and keep mixing to form an even mixture.
3) Take a pan, heat it and add the chhena mixture.
4) Keep stirring it until the moisture leaves the chhena mixture.
5) Let it cool for sometimes and make round shapes out of it.
6)Serve it to the goddess on dashmi and share the prasad among family and friends.
