The Morrison Government narrowly survives defeat on new bill

The Morrison government has narrowly survived an embarrassing defeat in federal parliament on the establishment of a federal integrity commission. Liberal backbencher Bridget Archer crossed the floor to vote with Labor and the crossbench, to bring on debate on an independent's bill for an integrity body. The move failed on a technicality.
