Rebirth Of A Banyan Tree

An age old Banyan tree in Girkawado, Arambol fell down with roots completely exposed in August 2020. Many from the community and around began wondering about the tree and how it could be saved. Augustine Fernandes and his family owned the land and have with the tree since their childhood. having spent much of their childhood around the tree, they allowed the community to save the tree in any way possible. The community came together and resurrected the tree. Since then Augustine has been taking care of the tree. Now the leaves have begun sprouting up and we hear Augustine's side in the video.
