Udupi: Hijab Row Spreads Into Protests, Karnataka High Court Hears Case, Appeals For Peace

On February 8, Karnataka High Court requested the public and students to maintain peace amid the hijab row. The High Court is hearing petitions filed by five women from a government college in Udupi, questioning hijab restrictions. The high court, which heard the matter on February 8, will continue the hearing on February 9. The court also asked students and the public at large to maintain peace. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai tweeted that all schools and colleges in the state will remain shut for the next three days amid the hijab row. Watch the video to know more.
