'Everyone will suffer!' Royal expert issues warning in wake of Andrew court case

The Duke of York avoided a public trial after reaching an out of court settlement with his accuser Virginia Giuffre on Tuesday. The agreement has caused widespread backlash, with one royal expert claiming the powerful royal is "taking no responsibility for his behaviour". According to Mr Scobie, Prince Andrew's lawyers aggressively unleashed an "oppo dump" against Ms Giuffre in October. This is a technique often used in political campaigns to smear the public image of their opponents to try and discredit or weaken them. At the time, the Duke's lawyers said Virginia's case was "baseless" and claimed Andrew had never even met her prior to the lawsuit. Royal expert Omid Scobie the settlement " ...
