Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman moved the Chartered Accountants, the Cost and Works Accountants and the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Bill in the Rajya Sabha today and called for improved transparency. Meanwhile, CPIM MP John Brittas argued that the Bill would dilute the autonomy of institutions.
