Charles 'shocked' by the images of war in Ukraine

Prince Charles has said the war of Ukraine was a "stark reminder" of the need for "credible defence" and the conflict has "highlighted the importance of alliances".

Speaking at a Royal Air Force graduation parade, the Prince of Wales said: "We have witnessed the return of war to Europe … we are all shocked by the images of war in our continent."
