Historic place disputes trying to deviate from main issues?

India is witnessing great communal dispute over the historic places. The fight is over the religion and reconsideration of the name of the monuments. For last few days, Kashi, Mathura, Delhi and now Delhi is into the headline. Qutub Minar controversy is high at present where there is demand of reconsideration of it's name to Vishnu Stambh.
