Éliane de Creus et ses Boys - Pourquoi suis-je rêveuse

Another request. In this post I present a rare French musical, interpreted by Miss Éliane de Creus, accompanied by excellent jazz musicians. This song is an excerpt from the totally forgotten work "Loulou et ses Boys", written thanks to teamwork of two composers, Georges Sellers and Michel Emer (a phenomenon often occurring in Spanish revues and zarzuela as well). Actress (featuring in three French films in 1926, 1928 and 1933) and prolific stage vocalist Eliane de Creus sang the main part of Loulou at the première on December 7th, 1933. The present, exquisite rendition by de Creus herself was recorded for in 1933. The orchestra formed for the recording session was directed by co-composer, pianist and arranger Michel Emer. Further personnel included: Faustin Jeanjean and Johnny Dixon (tp), Jean Naudin (tb), L. Briard (cl, ss), Roger Jeanjean (as), Russel Goudey (as, vcl, arr), M.Gareau (ts, vcl), Michel Warlop (v), Pierre "Baro" Ferret ? (g), Roger "Toto" Grasset ? (b), Max Elloy (dm, vcl).
