Surging car thefts in ACT prompt police crackdown

ACT police have declared a major crackdown as vehicle thefts in the capital soar. Around 30 cars are being stolen in Canberra each week and in an alarming twist, they're often being used by thieves to ram police cars and commit other crimes.
