The Congress party has today begun its ambitious Bharat Jodo yatra that it hopes will give a kickstart to the party campaign for 2024. Led by Rahul Gandhi, Bharat Jodo Yatra begins today from Kanyakumari and it will culminate in Kashmir. The yatra will last 150 days and will cover 3500 KM distance across 12 states and 2 union territories. While Padyatras are not new to Indian politics, what sets bharat jodo yatra is, this will be the first such attempt in neary 4 decades to cover the distance from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
