Russia's war against Ukraine: Putin intensifies attacks after Crimea bridge blasts

A wave of missile attacks the likes of which had not been seen in months: Russian missiles rained down on cities across Ukraine this week, including in Lviv, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and many others. The attacks follow the explosions on the Kerch bridge that links Russia to the illegally annexed Crimean peninsula. In our debate at the European Parliament in Brussels, we discuss whether this marks an escalation by Vladimir Putin.
We also talk about how to best respond to Moscow’s nuclear threats and how to interpret the Russian foreign minister’s comments on Moscow being open to talks with the West on the war in Ukraine.Produced by Perrine Desplats, Sophie Samaille and Isabelle RomeroThe action was co-financed by the European Union in the frame of the European Parliament's grant programme in the field of communication.
