Baroness Helena Kennedy KC, at the launch of the final report of the Commission of Inquiry into Asylum Provision in Scotland.

This inquiry was instigated by Refugees for Justice, and conducted independently by Baroness Kennedy (Chair) and the Inquiry panel. It has heard evidence from multiple sources, which has informed the panel's recommendations in the report.

Speakers at the event will include Baroness Helena Kennedy, members of the inquiry panel, and crucially, those whose lives were directly affected by the events in Glasgow in 2020.

Baroness Helena Kennedy KC's independent report, published today, found "it would appear that commercial imperatives were put ahead of human needs".
