Poland says blast likely caused by Ukrainian missile countering Russian air strikes

A missile that hit Poland and killed two people on November 15, 2022, was probably a stray fired by Ukraine’s air defence and not a Russian strike, Poland and Nato said on Wednesday. Nato Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that Moscow, not Kyiv, was ultimately to blame for starting the war in the first place and launching the “wave of attacks” that triggered Ukraine’s defences.
