Alex Hyde New Yorker Jazz Band-Farewell Blues 1925

Alex Hyde New Yorker Jazz Band-Farewell Blues-recorded in Berlin in May, 1925. This was recorded 3 years after the New Orleans Rhythm Kings version for Gennett but it sounds a lot like their recording. Alex Hyde's clarinet player is doing Rappolo's solo and the band is even doing the ensemble Wa Wa effects heard on the Rhythm Kings Gennett recording. An arrangement was probably made from the New Orleans Rhythm Kings Gennett recording since I doubt they had a printed arragement for Farewell Blues because they did head arrangements and most of the band didn't read music.
