People run for their lives as mass shooter kills three at Michigan State University

People have been seen fleeing a building at the campus of Michigan State University after a mass shooter killed three people.

At least three people have been killed with five others injured by the shooter who opened fire on Monday (February 13) night.

Footage shows a large group of people fleeing one area with their hands above their heads.

Heavily armed police officers are also seen running towards the area.

Local police have confirmed that the 43-year-old male suspect is dead after a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

They also confirmed that the suspect had no connection to MSU and have yet to establish a motive for the attack.
