How do we know that our Fasts have been accepted by Allah

  • last year
n Islam, the acceptance of any act of worship, including fasting, is ultimately known only to Allah (God) and cannot be fully ascertained by human beings. However, there are some signs and indications that suggest that one's fast has been accepted by Allah. Here are some of them:

Increased Taqwa (piety) and spiritual growth: Fasting is one of the most important acts of worship in Islam and is considered an opportunity for Muslims to draw closer to Allah, increase their taqwa (piety), and spiritual growth. If one experiences an increase in their faith, spirituality, and piety during and after Ramadan, it may be a sign that their fast has been accepted.

Observance of the other obligations of Islam: If a person continues to observe the other obligations of Islam, such as performing the five daily prayers, giving Zakat, and being kind to others after Ramadan, it may be an indication that their fast has been accepted by Allah.

Good deeds and kindness to others: If a person is motivated to perform good deeds, be kind to others, and refrain from sinful activities during and after Ramadan, it may be a sign that their fast has been accepted by Allah.

Feeling content and peaceful: If a person feels content and peaceful after completing their fast and fulfilling their obligations during Ramadan, it may be a sign that their fast has been accepted by Allah.

It is important to note that seeking the acceptance of Allah in all our acts of worship, including fasting, should be our ultimate goal. We should continue to strive towards pleasing Allah and improving our spirituality, regardless of whether or not our fasts are accepted.
