The leader of an organised crime group that controlled one of the largest amphetamine laboratories in the UK has been sentenced to 18 years in prison. The lab, located near Redditch, had the capacity to produce 400 kilos of amphetamine per month. Two men are in custody on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis after West Midlands Police executed a warrant to search a derelict Territorial Army Building in Tipton on Tuesday. The men were discovered locked inside the building where 300 cannabis plants were growing.
