Recreating an awe-inspiring aerial hoop routine... but with hand shadows

Recreating an act you loved and doing justice to it is quite commendable, but doing justice to it after having put your own spin on it, is impressive on a whole different level; the latter is what Philip Jose Galit did in this video.

Emanating from the Philippines, this funny-but-fascinating footage shows Philip using his unreal shadow-dancing chops to perform an aerial hoop routine with the movements of his hands.

He creates a staggering shadow representation of a long-haired, heel-wearing hoop artist with his fingers, and then dives into the action.

"I was inspired by an aerial hoop routine I saw on America's Got Talent, so I decided to do it with hand shadows," the filmer wrote online.
