A Japanese media company, Abema TV, has spent a few days in Nottinghamshire as they film a Newark fighter who will be taking on one of their country's most famous warrior sons.

Bailey Sugden will be battling Japanese legend Takeru Segawa — the only three weight World Grand Prix champion in K-1 history — in France on June 24.

The bout will take place at the Zenith Arena in Paris in front of an audience of 8,000 fight fans and will also be broadcast live worldwide.

The five-round contest at 61kg for the double Lightweight MTGP and ISKA World Titles is widely anticipated to be a battle of epic proportions.
