In the first mission of Hitman: Blood Money, Agent 47 is tasked with killing businessman and performer Joseph Clarence. This acts as a tutorial task to show players how the game works. In comparison to other subsequent missions, Death of a Showman is far more linear and constrained since the player must follow a tutorial to finish the level.

Hitman: Blood Money is a 2006 stealth video game developed by IO Interactive and published by Eidos Interactive. It was released in May 2006 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Xbox and Xbox 360. It is the fourth installment in the Hitman video game series, and the sequel to 2004's Hitman: Contracts.
