"Viva, Speed Racer! - A Tribute to Pops Racer's Mach 5 Legacy!" - A Fan Edit

This fan edit is dedicated to all "Speed Racer" fans wanting a GOOD "Speed Racer" movie!

I call this: "Viva, Speed Racer!" The story takes place in 1964, 3 years before "Speed Racer" began.

Here's the back story:

A few years after his 18 year old son Rex destroyed his experimental Mach 1 in a car race he entered without his father's permission, Pops Racer, got to work on a newer, more powerful racing car engine. Mr. Racer decided to let a young, up and coming racer (and part-time singer), named Lucky Jackson, test drive that engine for him, in the Las Vegas Grand Prix of 1964. Not to be outdone, other professional car race owners (Red Herring of the Three Roses Club, Oriana Flub, Cruncher Block and The Worldwide Assassins, to name a few) also offered their newly created car engines to some of the other drivers in that race. The Las Vegas Grand Prix of 1964 was the just beginning of the legacy of Pops Racer and what eventually became his fabulous Mach 5. This is the story of that historic race!

Enjoy!
