The untold dark secret of civilization. In this video I try to explain what I call the "Complexity Trap" that all civilizations fall into; not being able to understand that a narrow-minded technological "solution" is usually, in the long-term, worse than doing nothing, and definitely worse than gradually undoing the problem itself. This lecture is complementary to the documentary "The Connections (2021) [short documentary]": https://youtu.be/O8IzdoMuYFM

SHARE this lecture far and wide to inform the public; mass media and public education will NEVER mention about this because their existence depends on people NOT knowing the concepts presented in the video.

Further elaboration: At 18.55, I said "The system that we establish has to be as complex as the nature itself", and it should be understood as "The system that we establish has to be as complex as the nature that it occupies". And not just complex, but also harmonious.

Imagine no one asking where we are going with all this; no one questioning the ultimate outcomes of their daily activities that they spend their lives doing… Doing what they have been told to do, knowingly or unknowingly. Imagine almost all the people mislead by a huge mistake yet taking it very seriously, waking up each morning to participate in the mistake with passion or hate. Imagine a mistake run by billions of delusional blind cogwheels. A delusion so deep that is second only to freewill.

What would you do when you figure this out?

P.S. I am not anti-renewable energy, as it can be used to transition (CO2 bucket is full, maximum elimination of fossil fuels and meeting people's most basic needs with renewables until humanity reaches to natural balance would be ideal) towards the natural balance as much as possible. However, as I have mentioned in the video, it is difficult and maybe almost impossible to follow this ideal path due to the complexity of technology, society and nature. That's being said, it should be clear that renewables are not a sustainable solution to the problem of civilization.
P.S. And also about geoengineering "solutions", geoengineering can only be suggested as a lower risk path IF AND ONLY IF the proposed solution has been documented in the geological past as a natural phenomenon, and its effects have been well documented, and if the impacts of climate change outweighs these well documented effects AND IF AND ONLY IF the humanity overall has reached to the wisdom presented in this lecture.
