Starts Under $75K and Offers Up To 300 Mile Range, New Audi Q8 e-tron SUV 2024

Audi has rebranded the e-tron and e-tron Sportback as the Q8 e-tron and Q8 e-tron Sportback for 2024. It enters the model year as the family's undisputed electric vehicle flagship SUV.

Audi has done more than add a bit to the name with the 2024 version of the Q8 e-tron. Externally, it can be recognized as the 2024 model thanks to its new single-frame grille, new aerodynamic wheels and updated front bumper. These and other exterior changes resulted in a six percent reduction in overall friction.

Underneath the exterior, buyers will enjoy a new 106 kWh battery pack with a new higher charging capacity of 170 kW. This allows the Q8 e-tron to go from 10 percent to 80 percent in just 31 minutes. The EPA says this SUV can go 285 miles (459 km) on a single charge, or about 60 miles (98 km) more than the previous version.

Performance-wise, the Q8 e-tron uses two electric motors and all-wheel drive to produce a total of 402 hp (300 kW), and can accelerate to 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 5.4 seconds. That's pretty fast for an SUV that weighs 2,626 kg (5,798 pounds). This Audi also comes with some extra incentives that add value.

First, it's covered by a bumper-to-bumper warranty for four years or 50,000 miles. Electrical components achieve coverage that extends to eight years or 100,000 miles. Finally, every Q8 e-tron comes with two full years of free recharges at Electrify America charging stations.
