'What's happening to Stitch?!': Little girl brought to tears watching Lilo and Stitch

A little girl went through a rollercoaster of emotions watching Disney's film Lilo and Stitch.

Leticia Escobedo, 29, captured her daughter Lyla Neilson's emotional and funny reaction to the film, sobbing with emotion every time Stitch had a difficult moment.

The video shows Lyla, three, wailing: "What's happening to Stich, he's a little guy?" and "Why didn't Stitch stay with him."

Leticia, a stay-at-home mum, explained that Lyla's emotions related specifically to Stitch and only lasted as long as the sad parts did.

Leticia, who lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, said: "Anything and everything that happened to Stitch was just an emotional response, which is why it was so funny to me.

"She was crying at things that weren’t sad."

Thankfully Lyla got the happy ending she wanted and wasn't left sad after the film.

Leticia said: "We had a lot of explaining going on throughout the movie.

"After when she saw all the pictures of them together as a family she got really happy.

"Tarzan is the first movie I saw her have a very sad reaction. She was so concerned for baby Tarzan when the jaguar is coming for him."
