Elmina plane crash: Police confirm VIP among 10 killed

Former Cabinet minister Tan Sri Jamaluddin Jarjis' son Khairil Azwan was on the flight manifest of the crashed light aircraft on a highway near the Elmina township in Selangor on Thursday (Aug 17) afternoon.
However, Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the police had yet to confirm the identities of the victims.
