Last Two Survivors In Spain - Town of Polop & Strange Graves

We spent 3 nights in Calpe and didn't encounter anyone and quickly got bored:

hanging out on empty beaches is great but on the morning on the 4th day in Calpe we decided to drive up into the mountains. Maybe only cities are effected by this strange phenomenon? We aimed for Polop on a weekend day, when this town is full of visitors, well normally!

We arrived, parked the car and instantly the same strange feeling came upon us, nobody was here! We went to the main square, tables and chairs all set up but nobody was hanging out in the square!

The famed fountain of Polop - nobody there - we passed through the main square again to get up to the Castle and cemetery. Again - we were the only ones. That strangest thing we saw in town, were all the empty graves! Bizarre!

We had enough - we drove back to Valencia, where we have our place - closed the door of our apartment behind us and pretended that all this is not happening. We're staying in until we need food again!
