WE REACT: Delta's Diarrhea Plane

A Delta plane carrying 336 passengers from Atlanta to Spain was forced to make an emergency U-turn and landing two hours into the flight after one female passenger had an explosive diarrhea incident “all down the plane." Maintenance crews spent five hours cleaning the plane after its enforced early landing, including replacing an aisle carpet ruined in the incident. Grossed-out passengers got to re-board the flight to Spain after an eight-hour delay. Accounts from some on-board detailed the flight crew doing their best to mop up the mess with paper towels and scented disinfectant, which made the plane “smell of vanilla shit”, one passenger said.
