As a new mom breastfeeding has become a part of my everyday life, so when I am out to dinner with my friends that doesn’t stop. I didn’t realize the controversy that would arise from breastfeeding in public. Women are made to breastfeed and it is the best nutrients you can give your baby. Moms are often shamed for not breastfeeding and then when they do it in public they are shamed for that. You can’t turn off breastfeeding just because you are in public or away from your baby. I want to encourage other moms and set an example of confidence for breastfeeding or pumping in public.
