Roberto Corbalán's Fatal Crash @ Toay 2019

Roberto "Piti" Corbalán was killed during a round of the Supercar Pampeano series on Sunday, 23 June 2019 at Toay circuit in province of La Pampa, Argentina.
Corbalán was operating as a marshal in the track infield, when he was hit by the Chevrolet of Ricardo “Godino” Alzueta. Alzueta had lost control of the car following a collision with the Ford of Carlos Ruiz. Corbalán had turned his back to warn racers of another accident in a different turn and did not see Azuleta's car arriving.
A doctor assisted the injured man, who was then translated to the Lucio Molas hospital in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, where he arrived dead.
