Mandrassi - album Mare Egeo (Aegean Sea) 1974

  • 6 mesi fa
Very short album, less than 20 min. Mandrassi is the pseudonym of Anna Maria Assunta Andreassi who was the first Italian female composer of Library Music. "Mare Egeo" is her first solo, in 1973 Mandrassi & Zollinger had released the collabotation album "Rhythm and sound". "Mare Egeo" is composed of two distinct sides, the first side is essentially made up of a series of songs for acoustic guitar, flute and voice (in the last one), while the second side the same songs are proposed again played by two acoustic guitars (the last two with voice). Very atmospheric sounds, you can almost imagine the idle and sunny passing of time in the white coastal villages of ancient Greece, the scent of basil, mint and rosemary, the infinite horizons of the Aegean Sea.
