Amicia and Hugo end up on the Count's side by helping in capturing Arnaud . Arnaud had a quarrel with the count before . He had stuck a deal with Hugo to help him kill the Count , in return he will take the boy and Amicia to the Island . when Amicia learned of him using her brother for revenge , she turned her back on Arnaud .
