Ningguang and the Traveler shift away from Ningguang's usual scheduled routine to do an out-of-bounds activity. Now left to their own spontaneous devices, Ningguang tests themselves on her social experiment: how to make a profit on their own without using any of Ningguang's well-established resources and wealth. As one thing led to another, the two heroes end up hunting in the Guili plains and fish for their meal. Ningguang reveals how this reminded her of her impoverished past and the values it brought her to where she is today.
